Step 3: Gather Your Tools 🧰
You'll need:
Small tweezers or long-handled planting tools
A small spoon or scoop

A spray bottle with purified water
Step 4: Prepare for Planting 🌱
Ensure your hands are clean and free from any lotions or oils.
If using tools, make sure they are clean and free from dirt or debris from previous use.
Lightly mist the terrarium to make the soil easier to work with.
If your terrarium has a lid, remove it to give yourself easy access.
Step 5: Prepare the Planting Area 🍃
Gently remove the moss around the plant you're replacing. Set it aside carefully - we'll put it back later!
Use your tweezers or small spoon to clear the area around the dead plant.
Be gentle to avoid disturbing the surrounding plants and decorative elements.
Step 6: Remove the Old Plant 🥀
Gently dig around the base of the dead plant with your small spoon or tweezers.
Carefully lift the plant, trying to remove as much of the root system as possible.
If it's stuck, wiggle it gently back and forth while pulling upward.
Step 7: Plant Your New Green Friend 🪴
Use your spoon to create a small hole where the old plant was.
Gently place the new plant from PlantPico in the hole.
Press the soil around the base of the plant to secure it.
Step 8: Replace the Moss 🌿
Carefully place the moss you removed earlier back around the newly planted area.
Gently press it into place, creating a seamless look with the surrounding landscape.
If any moss was damaged during removal, you can use small pieces from less visible areas to cover any bare spots.
Step 9: Aftercare 💖
Keep an eye on your new plant for the first few weeks.
Ensure it's getting enough (but not too much) light.
Water sparingly – terrariums retain moisture well!
Remember, your PlantPico Tiny World is a delicate ecosystem. Each change can have a big impact, so go slowly and handle with care. With a little love and attention, your refreshed Tiny World will be thriving in no time!
If you have any questions during the replacement process, don't hesitate to reach out to our PlantPico support team. We're here to ensure your Tiny World stays happy and healthy!
