Caring for Your Plant Terrarium (General Guide)
Welcome to the PlantPico™ family! 🌿 Whether you own a Tiny World, Zen Garden, ZenFlow, or Tree of Wisdom, this guide will help you keep your plant terrarium healthy and beautiful.
💧 Watering Schedule
Different terrariums have different watering needs based on their plants:
High-Water Plants (2x per week):
PlantPico™ Tiny World
PlantPico™ Zen Garden
PlantPico™ ZenFlow
Low-Water Plants (1x per week):
- PlantPico™ Tree of Wisdom
How to Water:
Water Type: Use pure, mineral, or purified water. Avoid tap water.
Technique: Gently water the soil and moss until moist. Don't pour water directly on delicate plants.
Check Moisture: If the moss feels dry, it's time to water.
☀️ Lighting
Indirect Sunlight: Place in a spot with bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sun which can overheat your terrarium.
Artificial Light: Use the PlantPico lamp or soft, ambient light for about 6 hours daily if natural light is low. 💡
Rotate: Turn your terrarium occasionally for even light exposure.
🌡️ Temperature & Placement
Stable Surface: Place on a stable surface to avoid bumps or falls.
Temperature: Keep in a room with moderate temperature (65-75°F / 18-24°C). Avoid extreme heat or cold.
Avoid Drafts: Keep away from heating vents, air conditioners, and drafty windows.
✂️ Maintenance
Trim Plants: Prune any overgrown plants to maintain size and shape.
Remove Debris: Gently remove any dead leaves or plant matter.
Clean Glass: Wipe the inside of the glass with a soft cloth if condensation builds up excessively.
