What's in Your MiniHaven? 🌱🐟

Land Section (Rocks & Upper Level):

• Terrestrial moss

• Small evergreen tree (dwarf Podocarpus or miniature Pine)

• Spiky green plant (Mondo Grass)

• Small red accent plant (Fittonia)

Water Section:

• Submerged aquatic plants

• Decorative waterfall feature

• Small fish (1 medium or 2 small recommended)

Setting Up Your MiniHaven 🏗️

1. Location: Away from direct sunlight, stable temperature

2. Water: Dechlorinated water, room temperature

3. Fish: Add after 24 hours of water stabilization

🐠 Fish Care

Fish Capacity:

• One medium-sized fish OR Two small fish

• MiniHaven has defined swimming areas - don't overcrowd!

Feeding:

• Small amounts 2-3 times daily

• All food consumed within 2-3 minutes

• Watch for uneaten food and remove it.

💧 Water Maintenance

Water Changes: Replace 20-25% weekly

Option B - Manual Method:

1. Remove fish to holding container

2. Carefully drain water

3. Clean gently around waterfall feature

4. Refill with treated, temperature-matched water

5. Reintroduce fish

🌱 Land Plant Care

Dwarf Podocarpus/Pine:

• Water 1 time per week

• Trim to maintain miniature appearance

• Enjoys the humidity from water below

Mondo Grass:

• Very low maintenance

• Trim brown tips if needed

• Adds vertical interest

Fittonia (Red Accent):

• Adds color pop

• Water with other land plants

• Pinch back if leggy

Terrestrial Moss:

• Water weekly with land plants

• Should be lush green

• Press down if lifting

• Gently clean waterfall rocks during water changes

• Ensure water level is adequate for flow

• The sound should be soothing, not splashing
