Caring for Your PlantPico™ Tiny World
Welcome to your Tiny World adventure! This miniature landscape features a carefully curated selection of plants that create a stunning ecosystem.
What's Growing in Your Tiny World? 🌱
Your Tiny World contains:
Base: Cushion Moss (Leucobryum glaucum) or Sheet Moss
Red Foliage: Nerve Plant (Fittonia albivenis) - red or pink veined variety
Spiky Green Foliage: Small Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum) or dwarf Dracaena
Tall Stems: Miniature Podocarpus or small Boxwood (Buxus)
Decorative Elements: Natural stones, wood, stepping stones
💧 Watering Your Tiny World
Frequency: 2 times per week
Your Tiny World's plants (especially the Nerve Plant and Spider Plant) enjoy consistent moisture.
Water Type: Use pure, mineral, or purified water. Avoid tap water.
How to Water: Gently water the soil, ensuring moisture reaches the moss without waterlogging. Avoid pouring directly on delicate Nerve Plant leaves.
Check Moisture: If the moss feels dry to touch, it's time to water.
☀️ Lighting Requirements
Indirect Sunlight: Place in bright, indirect light. The Nerve Plant especially loves good light but will scorch in direct sun.
Artificial Light: Use the PlantPico lamp for about 6 hours daily if natural light is limited.
Rotation: Rotate your Tiny World weekly for even growth.
🌡️ Temperature & Environment
Ideal Temperature: 65-75°F (18-24°C)
Humidity: These plants enjoy humidity - the terrarium environment is perfect!
Stable Surface: Keep on a stable surface away from drafts.
✂️ Plant Maintenance
Nerve Plant (Red Foliage):
Pinch back leggy growth to keep compact
Remove any yellowing leaves
Spider Plant / Dracaena:
Trim brown tips if they appear
Keep tidy by removing dead foliage
Boxwood/Podocarpus:
Trim lightly to maintain shape
Pinch new growth tips for bushiness
Moss:
Mist if it looks dry between waterings
Gently press down any lifted sections
💚 Pro Tips
- The Nerve Plant is your "moisture meter" - if it droops, water immediately!
Your Tiny World is a living work of art! With proper care, it will bring you joy for years to come. 🌍✨
